The No. 25B bulb was one of the most popular flash bulbs for use by press photographers. It is one of the most powerful of the "smaller" flash bulbs, with an output of approximately 560,000 lumens at peak. It reaches peak output at about 20 milliseconds and has a color temperature of 6000° K.
This listing is for a single no. 25B one-time use flash bulb.
Because clear bulbs were designed for use with black and white films, the "B" style bulbs such as the 25B were designed with a blue coating to assist in color correction when using flash with color films. Because of this coating, these bulbs may operate with 1/2 to 1 stop less light output as their clear counterparts.
